The headline stat
Four kills, and four more times I had Wraith King at zero.
Death Prophet for the third time on this blog, after Two Deaths, Both to Rubick and Nine Kills Up With Five Minutes Left, and on the second account again: 4/10/17 at level 14, the lowest in the match. The four kills are real. Four more times — 19:19, 23:44, 32:25, 34:46 — my damage took Wraith King to zero and he stood straight back up. He went to zero seven times without dying all game, his Reincarnation and the Aegis from the 30:50 Roshan between them, and died only four.
Dire led ten kills to one at 11:52 and lost 41 to 28. Мартовский Спецн’s Wraith King finished 18/4/15, six of the eighteen landed by his skeleton warriors, who also took that Roshan and two of our buildings. Radiant lost two buildings all game, and both of them were mine.
9:35–34:54
Pugna and Riki solo, Shadow Shaman twice, and Wraith King four times for nothing
Pugna died to me alone at 9:35 and Riki alone at 11:18; Shadow Shaman went at 13:57 with four of us on him and at 19:16 with Pudge and Lich. Three seconds after that second one Wraith King hit zero for the first time. The other three were worse: at 23:44 he reincarnated and killed me five seconds later; at 32:25 he reincarnated and Shadow Shaman killed me fourteen seconds later; at 34:46 he reincarnated and Riki killed me eight seconds later. Wraith King himself killed me three times, at 22:53, 23:49 and 28:35; Riki and Pugna twice each, Shadow Shaman once, one of his Serpent Wards once at 15:12, and a creep at 19:35.
the real story of the loss
Wraith King finished 18/4/15 at level 22 and 76.7% teamfight participation with 38,613 hero damage and 11,007 tower damage, the most in the match, once his skeleton warriors are counted: they killed six heroes, took Roshan at 30:50, and destroyed our mid tier-two and a tier-four while he took our top tier-one, top tier-two, bottom tier-three, a bottom rax and the fort himself. 12’s Riki went 11/6/17 and killed Windranger three times and me twice. -HV- Morfei’s Shadow Shaman had 3 kills, but his Serpent Wards took his tower damage to 7,462 and destroyed three buildings, a tier-two and both range racks. For us, Cutty Flam’s Pudge went 10/9/10 with 45,454 hero damage, the most on either side, and killed Pugna six of the eight times he died; mehdi mesri’s Lich took first blood on Riki at 3:36 and finished 4/10/19 at 71.9%.
13:22–35:50
Two towers for us, both mine, then fifteen buildings for them
I took Radiant’s bottom tier-one at 13:22 and their mid one at 16:07; nothing else of theirs fell all game. Wraith King answered with our top tier-one at 16:32, creeps took the bottom and mid ones by 23:13, and from there every tier-two went — top to Wraith King at 24:09, bottom to a Serpent Ward at 27:12, mid to the skeleton warriors at 31:54 — and the bottom lane with it: tier-three at 28:00, racks at 32:51 and 33:31. The last sixty-seven seconds took six buildings: mid tier-three to a siege creep at 34:43, both mid racks by 34:58, both tier-fours by 35:29, and the fort to Wraith King at 35:50. Our top tier-three and top racks never fell.
Ten to one after twelve minutes, and four times I had Wraith King on the floor. The scoreboard counts one of those things.

Reconstructed from the match replay with dotabuff/manta · combat log + entity snapshot analysis. GPM/XPM and net worth weren’t reliably recoverable from this replay’s combat log and are omitted for everyone. I played this one on my second account, shebelongstoheaven. Seven of Wraith King’s combat-log death events are flagged will_reincarnate — six Reincarnations and the Aegis from the 30:50 Roshan, which the log doesn’t tell apart — and none of them counts as anyone’s kill; the four that were mine (19:19, 23:44, 32:25, 34:46) are the hollow rings on the chart, as in One Kill, Three Reincarnations and Eleven Kills, and the Twelfth Stood Back Up. Wraith King’s skeleton warriors (npc_dota_wraith_king_skeleton_warrior) and Shadow Shaman’s Serpent Wards log under their own unit names and are counted toward their owners’ hero damage, tower damage and last hits per this blog’s whole-kit rule, both verified in this match’s log before being added: the skeletons account for six of Wraith King’s eighteen kills, the Roshan and two buildings, and a Serpent Ward is Shadow Shaman’s third kill, me at 15:12. My death to a creep at 19:35 was credited to nobody. Match 9031484716 · 10 players · 35:50 · Radiant victory.
