The headline stat

First blood, five kills, three deaths — and a loss

The best personal line this account has put up in a while. Radiant won by 45 minutes regardless.

Lone Druid finished 5/3/9 with first blood at 3:39 and the lowest death count on either team. Every individual number here reads like a winning game. It wasn’t one — Radiant’s own split push simply outpaced whatever Dire was doing on the other side of the map.

23:53–44:34

No single nemesis this time

For once, three different heroes split my three deaths — Viper (26:17), Witch Doctor (34:53), Silencer (44:04) — spread across the back half of the match rather than concentrated in one rivalry. I got the better of that exchange with Witch Doctor specifically, killing him twice (23:53, 39:24) against his one kill on me. Silencer got the last word at 44:04, and I killed him right back thirty seconds later in the game’s final fight, with the fort coming down less than a minute after that.

a data note

Lone Druid and Spirit Bear log combat separately — different unit names entirely (npc_dota_hero_lone_druid vs npc_dota_lone_druid_bear1) — so a naive hero-damage total that only checks the Druid’s own name misses the Bear’s share. Counting both: 8,484 hero damage, not 3,959. Still a low number for a level-23 farming hero, which tracks with a game spent mostly on utility and healing rather than damage.

19:57–45:07

Two towers up, then the whole map the other way

Kill’s Nature’s Prophet opened well — a Radiant tier-one at 19:57, another at 26:06, Dire’s only structural output of the entire match. Radiant answered with everything else: Lagggeron’s Silencer finished 17/4/13 with 43,448 hero damage, fcrwkng876’s Viper put up the match’s highest tower damage, and Enchantress’s 23,465 healing kept both of them alive through it. Neither side ever contested Roshan — the pit just never came up.

A good scoreline on a losing team just means you were doing the right things somewhere the game wasn’t being decided.
