The headline stat
Ember Spirit went thirty and nothing. Eight of the thirty were me.
Phoenix on the second account, seven hours after Nine Kills Up With Five Minutes Left: 5/16/15 at level 17, the most deaths in the match, with the most damage taken in the match, 58,298, and the most hero damage on our side, 53,075. VeS’s Ember Spirit finished 30/0/18, never died, and killed me eight times. The other Phoenix game on this blog, Twenty-One Deaths, One Roshan, had more deaths and ended in a win after eighty-one minutes. This one ended in forty-two.
Dire led six kills to five at 16:16. Radiant then took five in twenty-nine seconds, three of them Ember Spirit’s first three, and after my kill at 29:11 it was 36 kills to 8. We lost all eighteen buildings and took two tier-ones, both to creeps.
6:38–42:10
Hoodwink four times, and three of my five kills answered inside seven seconds
Hoodwink died to me alone at 15:48, then at 23:58, 29:11 and 31:22; Bloodseeker at 38:49 with Sniper. Ember Spirit killed me seven seconds after the 29:11 kill and three seconds after the 31:22 one; Marci got me four seconds after Bloodseeker went down. Ember Spirit’s eight were 16:46, 20:08, 29:18, 30:10, 31:25, 35:34, 41:01 and 42:10, the last one ten seconds before the fort. Bloodseeker and Marci had two each, Dark Seer and Hoodwink one each, a Radiant creep got me at 8:19, and at 19:08 I died to a Lina — our Lina’s reflection out of Dark Seer’s Wall of Replica, the same trick that gave me a kill in One of My Six Kills Was a Wall, from the other side this time.
the real story of the loss
Ember Spirit’s thirty kills came between 16:39 and 42:13, twenty-three of them after 29:00, at 85.7% teamfight participation with 57,874 hero damage, the most in the match, and level 27 when nobody else passed 23. He also destroyed eight of our buildings himself, including the mid tier-two, tier-three and melee rax, the top tier-three, both bottom racks and a tier-four. isaarD_ツ’s Marci (9/4/14) had 8,671 tower damage, the most on either side; А бJLя…’s Dark Seer finished 7/6/31, the most assists in the match, with two of the seven kills landed by Wall of Replica illusions. For us, velmordoticka’s Lina went 11/10/11 at 88.0% teamfight participation, killing Bloodseeker four times and Dark Seer four times, and brainless’s Sniper took first blood on Hoodwink at 4:53.

Two creep towers for us, all eighteen buildings for them
Radiant lost its bottom tier-one to a siege creep at 31:44 and its top one to a creep wave at 33:55; no Dire hero destroyed a structure all game. Our tier-ones went at 18:16, 19:51 (credited to nobody) and 25:27, the tier-twos to Ember Spirit at 30:36 and 31:52 and Bloodseeker at 34:38. From 38:29 Radiant took twelve buildings in three minutes and fifty-one seconds: mid tier-three and both racks by 39:02, top tier-three and racks by 40:10, bottom by 41:11, both tier-fours at 41:50 and 41:56, and the fort to a siege creep at 42:20. Neither team went near Roshan.
Sixteen deaths, half of them to a hero who never died once. The eighty-one-minute Phoenix game had more deaths and a win at the end. This one had neither.

Two of Dark Seer’s seven kills, Mirana at 16:30 and me at 19:08, are logged under npc_dota_hero_lina with a Radiant attacker team: Wall of Replica illusions of our own Lina, credited to Dark Seer as the scoreboard does. Bloodseeker’s ninth kill is my death to a Radiant creep at 8:19, where he was the only hero involved and the game credited him; it’s charted as a death, not as anyone’s kill.
